Welcome to the Turtles Class
Welcome to the Turtles Class, where every day is a delightful journey of discovery! Our beloved Teacher Lins (Linda Govender) and her wonderful assistant Gugu are the nurturing day moms for our adorable 1 to 2-year-olds.
Teacher Lins, a proud mom of three, has been sharing her love and expertise in early childhood education for 21 years. Since joining Toddlers Corner, she has thrived in our family-oriented environment, where the love and care of children are always our top priority. We are thrilled to welcome your little ones into our warm and caring community.
In the Turtles Class, our daily program is designed to introduce age-appropriate milestones in a fun and engaging way. We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, memory, socializing, sharing, manners (with our magic words “please” and “thank you”), and even potty training when the time is right.
Here, learning through fun activities is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in personal communication with parents, so instead of keeping a journal, we share updates and artwork every Friday – get ready to see your budding Picassos in action!
We compile evidence-based reports in June and December to track your child’s progress. Each child receives a school bag with their own symbol, helping them recognize their belongings and develop pre-reading skills.
