Our motto is “Learning through Fun”. Play is a natural approach to learning, where the Child engages in an activity because they enjoy what they are doing.
Our curriculum is planned according to GDE School Terms and holidays.
Planning and preparation is an integral part of our day at Toddlers Corner. Our Learning Programmes contains age-appropriate lessons and activities, rhymes, and songs needed to bring these alive in our Classrooms. Each Theme includes language discussions, creative activities (art), music and movement, rhymes and songs; drama; games, pre-mathematics skills, pre-reading skills; pre-writing skills, and stories.
Our children are active for most of the day, able to run, climb and play. Our Gross Motor Programme helps to develop and enjoy the physical activities, with the aim to, amongst others, build eye/hand foot co-ordination, balance etc.
A simple, chance event, can be turned into an exciting opportunity to learn.
Our two Senior Groups take part in Drumming Lessons, raising the Child’s potential through rhythm and play. They each have their own individualised instrument, bringing enjoyment and pride. Drumming enhances co-ordination, concentration, auditory skills, self-esteem, social skills and rhythm. Rhythm is an integral part of pre-reading and pre writing skills.

Each child receives their very own color-coded bag, adorned with a unique symbol that makes recognition a breeze. These symbols are carefully chosen to represent essential pre-reading skills, setting the stage for a lifelong love of learning.
